The Great Ball Game

Comprehension:
Explain how you think the bat felt in the beginning of the story when the bat did not fit in with either group. Tell why.
Casey I think that they would not let him join the birds team is beacause the bat had teeth. And the animals did not let him join the teamis beacause the bat had teeth.He felt sad but when the animals let him join the animals team he was happy.
Jaclynn I think he felt sad because he went to the animals and the animals said tnhat it is not fair you have wings so go on the bird team then the birds said no then bat went to the animals and they said fine you can be on our team
Selena I think he felt sad because he did not have frinds but he had theeh and wings so I thik he felt left out because the did not care about hem so I think he did not want to play because the all wear being mean to hem but the animals did say yes at the end after and the animals won and they had to do something that they did not want to do.
Sunshine I think that bat really did not feel so good. Because the birds did not think that he was a bird and when the anamals side did not let bat be on that team they thought he was a bird. but I think that was very nice for the bear let bat play on his team.I think that the birds shoud of let him on there team because bat made a score because he was nuctunal.
